SUPER EASY BATTER BREAD 
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 tbsp. cooking oil
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
3 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add oil, salt, sugar and 2 cups of the flour. Mix at low speed of mixer for 1 minute. Add remaining flour and mix by hand until all flour is blended. Set aside and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes. Pour dough into greased standard loaf pan. Cover and let rise for 45 minutes. Bake in preheated oven at 375 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Remove and let cool on rack.

(To make whole wheat bread, substitute 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour for 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. Use honey or molasses instead of sugar.)
