ICED PUMPKIN COOKIES 
1 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 c. pumpkin
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon or to taste
1 c. raisin

Cream together first three ingredients. Mix well remaining ingredients. Add 1 cup raisins. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.

ICING:

3 tbsp. butter
4 tsp. milk
1/2 c. brown sugar

Cook until well dissolved. Cool and add 1 cup powdered sugar and 3/4 teaspoon vanilla. Ice cookies when cool.
