PASTA FAGIOLI 
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 c. olive oil
1 (28 oz.) can peeled tomatoes, Italian style
1 tsp. oregano or to taste
1 tsp. salt or to taste
1 can Cannellini beans (16 or 20 oz. can)
1 pkg. Ditalini pasta or sm. shells (1 lb.)

Brown garlic in olive oil. Put tomatoes in blender, then add tomatoes to olive oil and garlic. Add seasonings and simmer for half hour. If it simmers for a longer time, it is fine, just stir once in a while. Cook one pound package of pasta. Drain, mix with sauce and beans in one large bowl. Will serve 6 to 8 people generously. Serve with good Italian bread.
