My family loves this recipe. But after the Jello thickens, we whip it until its frothy, then add the rest of the ingredients.

This recipe was a family standard at my Grandparents. In addition to all other Holiday foods, this lime green JELLO supreme was always on hand. Hey, great for Easter, and probably all ingredients will be available Kosher for Passover too. Thanks for making this classic recipe available.

When my daughter was very young, she'd ask her gramma to make "that icky looking green salad" for holidays. It's been her favorite and now that my mom has passed, it's time for me to carry on the tradition. Since I lost the recipe, I'm glad I "found" it again! Thanks!!

Love the memories this salad brings to my mind. I used a 6oz pack of jello, so I had to use more liquid. I used ALL pineapple juice. 4 cups total. I didn't melt the marshmallows because it makes the jello too tough. Instead, fold the mini marshmallows in with all the ingredients after jello has set. One last thing... I whipped 1/2 of the jello with cool whip and left the other 1/2 plain. It makes for a pretty salad.

My mom would make jello soufflé every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Instead of the marshmallows, she would incorporated diced celery. It was my favorite dish growing up...

I haven't made this yet but it sounds like the salad my mom would make...I don't remember how she made it but I think that this will be very close.

Good for both side salad or dessert. Have always added a 1/4 cup Miracle Whip to mine.
