FOOL-PROOF PIE CRUST | |
4 c. flour 1 3/4 c. shortening 1 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. vinegar 1 egg 1/2 c. water (a little more or less as needed) Blend first 4 ingredients with a fork. Beat remaining ingredients and add to flour mixture until you can form a ball. Make 5 patties. Put each into a small plastic bag. Chill before rolling. Makes 5 single pie crusts. |
