PINEAPPLE-NUT CAKE | |
4 c. sugar 5 eggs 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple 2 tbsp. buttermilk 1 lb. white raisins 1 1/2 c. butter 5 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1 lb. chopped pecans Cream sugar and butter and mix as written down. Mix one cup of flour at a time. Bake at 300 degrees about 2 or 2 1/2 hours or until done. Use 2 tube pans. Grease pans and line with waxed paper. Makes approximately 7 1/2 pounds of cake. |
