MICROWAVE SMOKED SAUSAGE AND
PEPPER
 
1 1/2 lbs. Hillshire Farm smoked sausage or Polska kielbasa, cut into bite-size pieces
1 lb. angel hair pasta, uncooked
1/2 c. raspberry vinaigrette or Italian dressing
1/2 tomato, chopped
1/2 c. pitted black olives
2 c. red and green sweet peppers, chopped
1 c. frozen asparagus tips
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
2 tbsp. olive oil

Cook pasta; toss with 1/4 cup of the vinaigrette, add tomato and black olives; set aside. Combine olive oil, peppers, asparagus, and garlic in a container; cover and microwave on high until vegetables are tender, about 3-5 minutes. Set aside. Place sausage and remaining vinaigrette in another container. Cover; microwave on high until sausage is hot, about 3-5 minutes. Combine sausage and pepper mixtures. Serve over pasta. Stove top method: follow above directions, simply saute in skillet. Options: mushrooms, broccoli may be added.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
