MAPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE 
1 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk

Mix well and pour batter into 1 cup maple syrup in 8 inch square pan. Bake 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Serve warm plain or with whipped cream.
