POTATO CHEESE CASSEROLE 
1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen hash browns
1/4 lb. butter, melted
1 c. chopped onion
1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
Garlic salt to taste
1 tsp. salt
1 pt. sour cream
2 c. crushed corn flakes
1/2 stick melted butter

Defrost potatoes enough to handle. Mix with butter, onion, cheese, soup, salts and sour cream. Put into greased casserole and cover with topping made of the corn flakes and butter. Bake uncovered for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 350 degrees. Cover with foil for last 15 minutes, but don't seal. Serves 10-12.
