PAT'S BISQUICK AND HASH PINWHEELS IN ONION SOUP | |
2 cups Bisquick baking mix 1/2 cup cold water 2 tbsp. shortening or butter 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix 4 cups hot water 1 (15 oz.) can roast beef hash (Hormel) Preheat oven to 450°F. Mix together Bisquick, water and butter to form a soft dough. Knead 5 times. Roll to a 12x9-inch rectangle. Spread hash evenly to 1/2-inch of edge. Roll up. Cut into 1-inch slices. Sprinkle onion soup mix in 9x13-inch pan. Stir in 4 cups hot water and stir well. Add pinwheel slices about 1-inch apart in pan. Bake at 450°F for about 30 minutes or until tops are slightly browned and all soup mix is absorbed. Variation: Substitute roast beef with corned beef hash. Submitted by: Pat |
