PAT'S BISQUICK AND HASH
PINWHEELS IN ONION SOUP

2 cups Bisquick baking mix
1/2 cup cold water
2 tbsp. shortening or butter
1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
4 cups hot water
1 (15 oz.) can roast beef hash (Hormel)

Preheat oven to 450°F.

Mix together Bisquick, water and butter to form a soft dough. Knead 5 times. Roll to a 12x9-inch rectangle. Spread hash evenly to 1/2-inch of edge. Roll up. Cut into 1-inch slices.

Sprinkle onion soup mix in 9x13-inch pan. Stir in 4 cups hot water and stir well. Add pinwheel slices about 1-inch apart in pan.

Bake at 450°F for about 30 minutes or until tops are slightly browned and all soup mix is absorbed.

Variation: Substitute roast beef with corned beef hash.
