MEXICAN LAYERED APPETIZER 
1 lg. can refried beans (or 2 lg. cans bean dip)
1 c. sour cream
1 env. taco seasoning mix
2 lg., ripe avocados (or 3 med.)
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 med. tomatoes, coarsely chopped
1 lg. can ripe olives, chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
3/4 c. grated cheddar cheese

Mash avocados and mix with lemon juice, mayonnaise, salt and pepper. In separate bowl, mix taco seasoning mix with sour cream.

To assemble: spread beans on large platter; spread avocado mixture over beans; then sour cream mixture. Top with tomatoes, green onions, olives and finally cheese. Serve with tortilla chips.
