KINGS DESSERT 
6 egg whites
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
2 c. sugar
2 c. saltine crackers, crushed
1 c. nuts
1 can cherry pie filling

Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff, add sugar gradually. Add flavoring gradually, add crackers and nuts. Bake in greased pan at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.

Let cool and spread one large Cool Whip on top, then spread 1 can of cherry pie filling on Cool Whip. Let chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
