BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES 
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 c. packed light brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 egg whites
1/4 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 c. pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 inch square pan. Sift all dry ingredients together. whip egg whites lightly with a fork, then add oil and vanilla. Add dry ingredients to liquids and mix well. Fold in the pecans. Spread evenly in the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
