FROSTED MEATLOAF | |
1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 can mushroom soup 1 c. bread cubes or crumbs 1/4 c. chopped onion 1 egg, slightly beaten 1/2 tsp. salt (optional) 2 c. mashed potatoes 1/4 c. water 1 tbsp. drippings Mix thoroughly beef, 1/2 can soup, bread, onion, and egg. Shape firmly into loaf, place in shallow baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Frost with mashed potatoes, bake for 15 minutes. Blend remaining for gravy. Serves 4-6. |
