HOT DOG RELISH 
4 c. ground onions
10 green tomatoes (4 c. ground)
1/2 c. salt
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tbsp. turmeric
2 c. water
1 med. cabbage (4 c. ground)
12 green peppers
6 sweet red peppers
6 c. sugar
2 tbsp. mustard seed
4 c. cider vinegar

Grind vegetables and sprinkle with 1/2 cup salt. Let stand overnight. Rinse and drain. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over vegetable mixture. Heat to boiling and simmer 3 minutes. Seal in hot jars. Makes 8 pints.
