HAM POTATO SWISS SCALLOP 
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 c. sliced green onions
1 tbsp. dill weed
6 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
4 lg. potatoes, cooked & sliced
3 c. diced, cooked ham, canned chopped ham or luncheon meat
1 c. fine soft bread crumbs
Paprika

Mix first 3 ingredients and set aside. Melt 2 tablespoons butter and blend in flour and salt. Gradually add milk and cook, stirring until smooth and thickened. Put one third of potatoes in 2 1/2 quart casserole and add half the ham. Top with half the cheese mixture and half the sauce. Repeat layers, ending with layer of potatoes. Melt remaining butter and mix with crumbs. Sprinkle on casserole and bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees, about 45 minutes. Sprinkle with paprika. Yield: 6 servings.
