HEARTY POTATO HAM CHOWDER 
4 potatoes
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. green onions, sliced
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
3 tsp. flour
2 c. milk
1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn
2 c. cooked ham, diced
Parsley, chopped

Peel and dice potatoes. In large saucepan, melt butter. Add onion and green pepper, and cook until tender. Add potatoes, water and seasonings. Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender. Make paste of flour and 1/3 cup water. Add to potato mixture. Add milk and cook until slightly thickened. Stir in undrained corn and diced ham. Heat through. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped parsley. Makes 6 servings.
