PECAN PRALINES 
1 2/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. maple flavoring

Sift together and set aside the flour, soda, and salt. Cream together the butter and brown sugar; add the egg, vanilla, and maple flavoring. Add to the flour mixture and set in refrigerator to chill. Shape into 8 inch roll and chill for 4 hours. Cut into 1/8 inch slices and put on greased cookie sheet with nuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.

Topping: Drizzle frost topping is made with 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1 tablespoon corn syrup, 2 tablespoons water boiled. After boiling stage is reached, remove from heat and blend 1 cup powdered sugar and beat until smooth. Add drops of water until correct consistency is reached. Drizzle over the baked cookies after they are baked and while they are still cooling from the oven.
