CHEESE 'N BEEF UPSIDE-DOWN CORN
BREAD
 
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. flour
1 sm. can tomato paste
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 c. cubed Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. sliced ripe olives
1 (6 oz.) pkg. corn bread mix
1 (4 oz.) can green chilies

Brown beef and onion in butter until done. Drain. Stir in flour, tomato paste, salt, peppers and chili powder. Remove from heat. Add cheese and olives. Spread in a 9x13 inch pan.

Mix corn bread mix according to directions. Spread on meat mixture and bake at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Cut into squares.
