CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFINS 
1 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate mini chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. chopped maraschino cherries, well drained
2 tsp. grated orange peel

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Add milk, oil and egg; stir just until blended. Stir in mini chips, nuts, cherries and orange peel.

Fill greased or paper lined muffin cups 2/3 full of batter. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan; cool completely.
