LEMON SHRIMP WITH HERBS 
1 lb. med. shrimp, shelled & deveined
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. butter
2 cloves garlic, minced or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 sm. onion, minced or 1/4 tsp. onion powder
1 tbsp. fresh oregano or 1 tsp. dried oregano
2 tbsp. fresh basil or 1 tbsp. dried basil
Salt & pepper to taste
Juice of 2 lemons (fresh is best)

Toss shrimp with basil, oregano, salt, pepper and onion/garlic powder, if used. Let stand in refrigerator for at least 2 hours prior to cooking.

Combine oil and butter in large skillet. If using fresh onions and garlic, saute for about 3 minutes.

Add shrimp and saute for about 5 minutes or until shrimp are just pink.

Add lemon juice and heat for additional minute. Serve with rice or pasta.
