COPPER PENNIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix

Let butter and cheese come to room temperature, mix thoroughly and add remaining ingredients, blending well. Shape into 3 long rolls about 1 inch in diameter. Wrap in wax paper and chill for 3 hours. Slice rolls into 1/4 inch slices. Bake on ungreased sheet at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Keeps well in an airtight container for several weeks.
