SCALLOPED SWEET POTATOES AND
APPLES
 
8 med. sweet potatoes, cooked
4 med. baking apples, cored and cut in rings
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. pecans, halves or pieces
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground mace
2 tbsp. butter

Peel sweet potatoes and cut in lengthwise slices about 1/2 inch thick. Arrange layers of potato slices, apples, brown sugar, pecans and seasonings in greased 2 quart casserole. Top with butter. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
