NORWEGIAN MEATBALLS | |
1 lb. hamburger 1 tbsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. ginger 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 2 1/2 rounded tsp. cornstarch 1 1/2 c. milk 1/2 stick butter 3 c. water 1 bouillon cube 1 onion Mix hamburger, salt, pepper, ginger, nutmeg, cornstarch together. Put in milk and mix well. Make balls, flatten a little. Roll in flour, fry in butter until nice and brown. Add water and cook 45 minutes. Add onion when you add water; salt to taste and add bouillon cube to make gravy. |
