“FRESH PUMPKIN PIE” IS IN:

FRESH PUMPKIN PIE 
1 qt. (4 cups) fresh pumpkin, drained
4 cups milk or half & half
2 tablespoons dark rum or 1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 lb. box brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 pie crust

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Process ingredients in a blender or food processor; beat eggs lightly with a fork before adding. Line pie pan with crust and decorate edges.

Bake at 450°F for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350°F and bake for 45-50 minutes or until center is set.

Cool on wire rack. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
