WINE BISCUITS 
1 c. oil
1 c. wine (homemade red is wonderful)
1 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. baking powder
4 to 5 c. flour
1 egg (opt.)

Mix wine, oil and sugar well. Add dry ingredients gradually. Knead the dough. Cut in small pieces and shape (rolling dough thin will provide crunchy biscuits, rolling thicker will provide moist biscuits). Baste with beaten egg (optional). Bake at 375 degrees until brown. Enjoy!
