RED - WINE BISCUITS 
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. double-acting baking powder
1/2 c. dry red wine
1/2 c. vegetable oil

In food processor, blend together the flour, sugar, salt, pepper, and baking powder. Add wine and oil and blend until it just forms a dough. Divide dough into 24 pieces; roll each piece into a 3 inch long log and press the ends of each log together to form a ring. Arrange the rings of dough 1 1/2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes or until bottoms are golden. Makes 24.
