WINE BISCUITS 
1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp. red wine
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Mazola oil
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder

Put flour in a bowl; add oil, sugar, baking powder, salt, and wine. Mix well. Let sit 20 minutes. Cut in small pieces (oil hands). Roll in length or connect ends for circles. Beat eggs well in dish. Brush tops of biscuits with eggs. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
