LASAGNA 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. green pepper
2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. garlic salt
salt and pepper, to taste
Mushrooms (if desired)
2 eggs
16 oz. cottage cheese or ricotta
3 tbsp. fresh minced parsley
3/4 to 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated
6 to 7 lasagna noodles

Brown beef, onion and green pepper. Add tomato sauce, oregano, garlic salt, salt, pepper and mushrooms. Simmer for 1 hour. Beat eggs and add to cream cheese or ricotta. Stir in parsley. Set aside.

Grate cheese. Cook lasagna noodles.

Assemble Layers: sauce, noodles, cottage cheese or ricotta, noodles, sauce, grated cheese. Cover with foil.

Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes. Uncover until brown, 15-30 minutes.
