NAVY BEAN SOUP 
1 lb. navy beans, soaked overnight (drain)
3 qt. water
1 minced onion
1/2 celery stalk (or more)
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. white pepper
4 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. parsley
1/2 c. chopped ham
1/2 c. tomato sauce
2 tbsp. Wesson oil

Cook slowly a long time.
