CREAM OF NAVY BEAN SOUP 
1 lb. dried navy beans
8 c. water
1 lg. chopped onion
2 stalks celery
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
4 c. milk
1 med. green pepper

Wash beans and soak overnight. Add onion, green pepper, celery, salt, and pepper. Simmer until tender. Put through a sieve to make a puree. Stir in milk. Heat to boiling point and serve hot.
