BROCCOLI AND RICE | |
3 c. cooked wild rice 1/2 c. chopped celery 2 pkgs. chopped frozen broccoli, thawed 1 can water chestnuts, chopped 1/2 c. chopped onion Mushrooms fresh or 1 can 3 strips bacon, browned and crumbled 1/2 c. melted butter 8 oz. jar Cheez Whiz 1 can cream of mushroom soup Cook 1 cup raw wild rice in 2 cups water and 1/4 teaspoon salt, uncovered for 15 minutes. Yield: about 3 cups cooked. Mix all together. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. |
