CHEESE AND POTATO SOUP 
2 c. potatoes, diced
1/2 c. carrots, diced
2 c. water
1/2 c. celery, diced
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

WHITE SAUCE:

2 c. milk
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. butter
2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 c. cubed ham

Boil potatoes, carrots, water, celery, onion, salt and pepper in large pan for about 10 minutes.

In small saucepan make white sauce. Melt butter and add flour and stir until smooth. Add milk slowly and cook until thick. Add grated cheese to white sauce and stir until melted. Add white sauce and ham to vegetables.
