OKRA PICKLE 
3 1/2 lb. small okra pods
1 pt. distilled white vinegar
3 sm. hot peppers
Garlic buds, if desired
1 qt. water
1/2 c. salt
2 tsp. dill seed

Pack okra firmly in hot sterilized jars. Put a garlic bud in each jar. Pour boiling brine in jars and seal. Process in boiling water bath at simmering temperature about 180 to 200 degrees for 10 minutes. Let ripen several weeks before opening. Makes 4 to 5 pints.
