CHEESECAKE CUPCAKES 
2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chocolate chips
Confectioners' sugar

CAKE:

1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. oil
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. water

Filling: In medium bowl combine cream cheese, sugar, egg and salt until creamy. Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Set aside.

Cake: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt over hot water 1/2 cup chocolate chips; stir until smooth. Remove from heat. Set aside. In small bowl combine flour, soda and salt. In large bowl combine sugar, oil, egg and vanilla; beat well. Stir in melted chocolate chips. Gradually beat in flour mixture alternately with the water.

Spoon 1/2 of batter into 16 paper lined cupcake pans. Spoon 1 slightly rounded tablespoon filling over batter. Spoon remaining batter over filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 23-25 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Remove from pans. When cool completely sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
