1/2 c. of 1/4 inch strips cooked meat (beef, ham, or tongue) 1/2 c. of 1/4 inch strips of cooked chicken or turkey 1/2 c. of 1/4 inch strips of Swiss cheese 1/2 c. of chopped green onions with tops 1 med. head of lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces Sm. bunch of romaine lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces 1 med. stalk of celery, sliced 1/2 c. mayonnaise or French dressing 2 hard-cooked eggs 2 ripe tomatoes Pitted olives Reserve a few strips of meat, chicken, and cheese. Toss remaining meat, chicken, cheese, celery, onions, and lettuce. Mix mayonnaise or French dressing and pour on lettuce mixture and toss. Top with reserve meat, chicken, and cheese strips, egg, tomato and olives. |
