BUTTERMILK PIE 
1 1/2 c. white sugar
3 tbsp. flour
2 eggs
1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
Chilled 9-inch pie shell

Combine 1 1/2 cups sugar with 3 tablespoons flour. Beat 2 whole eggs and add to the sugar-flour mixture. Then add 1/2 cup melted butter and 1 cup buttermilk. Fold in 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour into chilled unbaked 9-inch pie shell. Preheat oven and bake pie at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 35 minutes longer.
