BEST OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIES
 
1 c. sifted all purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. white sugar
1 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat above ingredients until smooth.

4 c. old fashioned oats
4 c. cornflakes (Post Toasties)
1 lg. pkg. chocolate chips

Drop by large heaping teaspoon on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 to 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Test to see if golden brown. Leave on sheet 5 minutes before removing.
