MAMA'S BUTTERMILK CORN BREAD 
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. corn oil

Put all ingredients together. Beat real good. Bake at 400 degrees 20 minutes or until brown on top.

Can be poured into 12 muffin cups, or one 8 x 10 pan (greased) to bake.
