STRAWBERRY-RHUBARB PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. tapioca
1/4 c. orange juice
1 c. rhubarb
1 recipe orange pastry
1 c. sliced strawberries
1 tbsp. butter

1 tablespoon grated orange peel added to your favorite recipe for pie dough for a double crust.

Combine sugar, tapioca, salt, nutmeg, orange juice, and rhubarb. Prepare pastry.

Slice strawberries over rhubarb mixture which has been put into pie shell. Cut butter into small pieces and distribute over top of strawberries.

I like to make a lattice top crust for this pie because filling is so pretty. Bake 10 minutes at 450 degrees. Reduce to 350 degrees and bake 30 more minutes.
