"HOT BEER BEANS" 
1 pkg. pinto beans
1/2 med. onion soup
1 can Rotel tomatoes
1/2 lb. ground beef or hot Italian sausage
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1 clove of garlic, crushed
4 to 5 fresh Jalapeno peppers, chopped
2 to 3 (12 oz.) cans beer
Add salt & pepper to taste
2 tbsp. chili powder

Soak beans overnight in 1 to 2 cans of beer. Next day add more beer and remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and let simmer about 1 hour, do not stir a lot. Add beer or water as needed to cover about 1 ounce. Serve hot.
