“HOT BACON BEAN DIP” IS IN:

HOT BACON BEAN DIP 
1 can (8 oz) red kidney beans, drained
1 tablespoon chopped green pepper
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon instant minced onion or 1/2 fresh onion, minced
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder or 5 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon each black pepper and cayenne pepper (optional)
2 slices bacon

Mash beans. Fry bacon until crisp; remove and drain. Stir beans into drippings in skillet.

Cook over low heat, stirring until all liquid has been absorbed. Mix sour cream, cream, pepper, onion and seasonings; stir into bean mixture. Crumble bacon and stir in.

Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
