PAN ROLLS 
1/2 c. sugar
2 pkgs. yeast
2 c. water
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. salt
6 c. flour
1 egg

In large bowl heat water with butter in it. Mix sugar, yeast, salt, 2 1/2 cups flour. Stir 2 1/2 cups more flour to make soft dough. Knead 10 minutes. Place in greased bowl. Let rise until double, punch down. Pinch into rolls. Let rise 1 hour. Bake 20 minutes in 450 degree oven. When done put butter on top.
