ICE BOX COOKIES 
1 lb. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar--1/2 brown sugar (1 1/4 white, 1 1/4 brown)
3 eggs, 1 beaten
1 tbsp. corn syrup
5 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugars, add eggs, corn syrup, and rest of ingredients. Nutmeats, any or all kinds can be used.

Flatten dough out and roll up as a jelly roll. Refrigerate. When ready to use, slice off 1/4 inch and bake in a 375 degree oven until brown.
