BEEF STROGANOFF 
2 lbs. sirloin in strips
2 onions, chopped fine
1 can sliced mushrooms
1 pt. heavy cream
1 can tomato paste (sm.)
Salt and pepper
2 tbsp. sherry
2 tbsp. sour cream

Brown meat in butter. Remove meat from pan and saute onions. Remove onions from pan, add more butter and saute mushrooms. Return onions and meat to pan, add some salt and pepper. Mix tomato paste, heavy cream, sherry and sour cream in bowl, the pour over meat mixture. Simmer in frying pan at low temperature for 1 hour. Serve over noodles.
