GERMAN MEAT CAKES 
Mix filling:

1 lb. ground beef
1 sm. diced onion
1 tsp. salt
Few dashes pepper

Set aside.

Mix dough:

3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 c. Half and Half

Mix well. Shape dough into balls, the size of golf balls. Roll out on floured board into 6 or 7 inch rounds. Place about a tablespoon of filling on each round. Fold over and form a half circle. Pinch and seal edges. Deep fry, turning them over as soon as they float to the top. Drain well. Serve with ketchup.
