SPICED CIDER CUP 
3 quarts cider
10 whole allspice
10 cinnamon sticks, broken in 1-inch pieces
10 whole cloves
3 sm. pieces of root ginger or candied ginger
1 c. light brown sugar

Bring cider to a boil with allspice, cinnamon, cloves and ginger. Stir in brown sugar and simmer 15 minutes. Strain and serve hot or chilled. Makes 12 servings.
