HOT ROLLS - CINNAMON ROLLS
1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sweet milk
1 c. warm water
1 pkg. yeast
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
5 c. flour

Melt Crisco in small saucepan. Add milk and heat to lukewarm. In large mixing bowl put water and yeast, salt and sugar. Add milk and Crisco to this. Put enough flour to be as thick as biscuit dough. Cover and let rise. (Warm place if cold.) Stir down and put 1/2 dough onto floured pastry sheet and knead. Make out into rolls. Let rise and bake at 350 degrees until light brown.

To make Cinnamon Rolls, roll the dough out thin. Spread soft butter all over. Put sugar and cinnamon all over and roll as in a jelly roll. Cut into pin wheels. Put in greased cookie sheet. Let rise and bake at 350 degrees. Ice while hot.
