2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. corn syrup
2 1/2 c. raw peanuts
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda

Cook sugar, syrup and water until mixture spins a thread. Then add raw peanuts. Cook until golden brown. Add butter, vanilla, salt and soda. Mix and pour out on two large cookie sheets that have been buttered. Let candy cool and break into pieces.
