1 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 c. either minced or whole clams 1 egg Sift flour and baking soda together in small bowl; drain clams, save juice, should be about 1/2 cup. Beat egg with clam juice; mix two together flour and egg mixture. Heat oil until hot, drop fritters in hot oil until brown on both sides. |
